Safarni traveled to Somalia!
The Safarni kids were excited to get a Somalia stamp in their Safarni Passports. The Safarni kids “boarded” the Safarni plane and after 5 hours (5 minutes), we landed in Mogadishu, Somalia!
Our foreign friends, Fuad and Yassien were excellent tour guides. The conversation was fluid between the children and the foreign friends. Fuad and Yassien told the children stories about their childhood in Somalia, and the children eagerly listened.
Connections were made.
One of the highlights of the day was doing the Somali Dance. It was simple, but fun! Check out the video of the kids doing the dance—they loved it!
